Josh and Stephanie really had a wonderful day of photographing in store for me when they flew me up to San Francisco for their engagement session! We started off at their apartment which was unbelievably adorable and decorated so nicely! We took some photos inside their comfy home then made it out to the roof top, which I LOVED! We then got to explore the Golden Gate Bride from all angles!! The side, underneath it and on it! That was so much fun! Then they took me over to their wedding venue to scope the place out for some ideas for their big day! Right there near the property was a trail called Lovers Lane.... so perfect and SO beautiful!! We ended the day at one of their favorite restaurants where they treated me to lunch and guess what we did.... we photographed them in the restaurant too! Hehe! So many different elements. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in March of next year up there! It will be a beautiful day and am so honored that I will be the one to capture it all! Hope you enjoy the images below! PS I am slightly obsessed with SF foggy weather!! SUCH PRETTY LIGHTING!!!
Chris and Jody are such a gorgeous couple and what I loved the most about them is they are just as gorgeous on the inside. Their wedding day was full of love and emotion! From Jody getting ready, reading her beautifully written letter from Chris, her first look with her father, to the walk down the isle all the way up to the speeches and first dances! It was truly an honor to feel all the love. They got married at Padre Serra in Camarillo, CA and ended with a stunning reception, with a room filled with family and friends at the Wood Ranch Country Club! Not gonna lie...I shed some serious tears during her fathers speech! WOW! So touching! Their wedding had the most exquisite, romantic color palette. White and deep royal blues. Jody's bouquet was a stunner with all white roses! It was a beautiful and breathtaking celebration! They even had an awesome cigar roller at the reception! Please enjoy the photos below!

I have known Adam & Casey for years now! They hired me long ago for their yearly family photos! Since then I have photographed family holiday photos, grandma's birthday, Adam's graduation from USC as a Doctor! And now... finally, I got to photograph their Wedding!! it was held at the beautiful Westlake Village Yacht Club. I had been waiting for this day for a while! I am SO happy I have been able to watch their lives blossom and be apart of such special times. They have completely put their trust into me to capture these milestones and I am so honored!! Here are a few photos of their wedding that I wanted to share! Enjoy!
Renae has the sweetest family who will be adding an addition extremely soon!! She is seriously one GLOWING mama to be! I love that even in her 3rd pregnancy she has decided to still do photos... That she found the time with two very active little boys and a working hubby. It is so important to document ALL of your pregnancies, for one day that child baking in there would love to have them and be passed down by generations. For Renae's session we went to the shore of the beautiful city of Ventura. Once we were finished with the family photos, we relieved dad and the boys so we could have some one on one mama photos!! For those we went down the street to the Ventura County City Hall!! I had always wanted to photograph there but no one ever saw my vision!! Of course it took another photographer to suggest it!! Did I forget to mention that Renae is a talented Wedding and Portrait photographer herself?? We met in our networking meetings and instantly became friends! It is also such an honor to be asked to do a fellow colleagues photos! Enjoy the photos below!!
I just love this couple!! They seriously make one beautiful pair. I met with them last weekend in Malibu for their engagement session and when they stepped out of their car, I got sooo excited because they looked PERFECT!!! Engagement sessions are so crucial to me. Reasons being, it gets you and me as your photographer comfortable and more acquainted with each other before your big day. Its like your wedding day practice round! We get to know each other while having fun and pose practicing. And in the mean time you are able to walk away with such memorable photos to either keep just for you, make prints for your wedding day or even send out as your save the date cards!!
I am so excited to shoot Chris and Jody's wedding in June! When I asked Jody about how she and Chris met, this is what she said! "I moved to Oak Park when I started working for Daniella as her assistant as I had just became a hairdresser and Linda one of Daniella’s clients wanted to fix me up, and showed me and Daniella a picture of her daughter's ex boyfriend and in the picture was a group of guys and one of them was Chris I picked him out of the pick line “what about him” and Linda was like that’s a better match. She ran into him the next day and showed him a pic of me, then he added me on Facebook and messaged me and then we met up at Lure for happy hour! Rest was history!" It was fate people!!! I love hearing these stories!!!
Enjoy some of Chris and Jody's photos!!
The Pacific Northwest is a serious photographers dream as far as scenery! Everything is so lush and green! Today I share with you Sam and Katie's Engagement session that was taken at The Jenkins Estates right there in Portland, Or. I seriously want to start booking sessions there monthly or bi-monthly!!! I teamed up with the talented Kiss N Makeup Artistry doing Katie's makeup and the talented Jennifer Dube that made the gorgeous Flower Crown. Between the 3 of us working on this session, I believe it was a success and they felt like gold!! Enjoy some of the photos!!
This is my very FIRST blog post! And I hope I did ok!! Hehe! I thought this would be an excellent session to share as my first. It honestly feels like nothing else to receive so much love and support from everyone around me, thank you to all for helping me believe and pursue my passion! ... enjoy!
The Auroral Ballrooms
The Alexandria is known to have welcomed presidents, dignitaries and vintage Hollywood royalty since 1906. Charlie Chaplain's Wedding Ceremony was held here! After decades, the ballrooms have been restored and have officially opened their doors once more. Sparkle and Vintage put together this amazing shoot with the help of many talented vendors! It felt so nostalgic!!
